FAVELA’S EYES

Travel and research as a human dimension. This book accompanies us through illustrations and short phrases, whispers, praises or passionate songs, within the Brazilian favela of Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais. The intent is to tell this reality through a non-pitying or melancholy gaze but rather surprised and amazed by the beauty, culture and mystery that are born in the middle of its streets.
