FIVE VARIATIONS ON ABANDONMENT

This is a graphic-illustrative work drawn and printed during “The seventh Xavier Nogués experimental impression seminar” at the “Escola Massana” in Barcelona. Experimenting is the action around which each work has developed, in collaboration between groups of emerging Catalan, Spanish and Italian graphic designers and illustrators.

The team was able to take advantage of and enjoy the skills and creativity of great artists and designers including Pep Carrio ‘and Montse Gomis coordinator of the seminar itself.

“Cinq variacio sobre l’abando” is a short story about loneliness and abandonment made in monotype and engraving on plexiglass, while the texts are printed with movable type.
